Meet Aluko Omobolanle, a mother of two and a graduate of International Relations from Leadcity University Ibadan. She is presently a clothier and a professional make-up artist.
Would you like to be born to the same parents, have the same siblings and other relations?
Yes, I would love to be born of the same parents again and of course the same siblings.
Would you like to grow up in the same environment or be born as a Nigerian?
I must say am proud to be a Nigerian. As for the environment, I would prefer a change.
Would you like to have the same childhood experience and attend the same schools?
My growing up was quite fun, especially with my father and my favourite brother Kc. But the only thing I do not want to experience if I could change the hands of time is going to a boarding house in primary school days.
Would you like to practise the same profession or work in the same place?
I would love to practice my present career again and again. As for working under anybody, I don’t think I want to do that at all.
What decision have you taken in life that you have regretted?
Listening to the advice of friends that pretend to love me.
Would you like to marry the same person and have the same children?
One of the greatest things that have ever happened to me is my family. That’s a yes for me. My children are my topmost reason for aspiring to make it to the top. And as for my hubby, he is my best friend.
Would you like to be born of the same sex?
I would have loved to experience what men experience, but I know this is who I should be and I am immersed in joy.
What have been the good and bad sides of your life?
To God be the glory. I would say one of the things I love to do and that I have been doing is to impact the lives of people that I come across positively and bring smiles to their faces in my own little way. And as for the other side, God will perfect that.
What would you like to change and what wouldn’t you change?
One great thing I would love to change if I have the power to is not to have allowed my mother die when she passed out.
Would you like to practise the same religion?
Yes. Christianity is a religion of transparency and a religion of truth. I am a practical Christian and I’m glad to be one.
Do you believe in re-incarnation?
The Bible tells me that it is appointed of a man to die once and after which is jugdement.
