DSS FC target NNL diadem, promotion to Pro-league
Ahead of their week 5 Nigerian Nationwide League match against Jarma Football Club in Kano, Dynamic Sporting Solutions Football Club of Kaduna have restated their aspiration of winning the Division One D and gaining promotion to the Professional League.
DSS FC owner, Mr. Sunday Adeleye, who disclosed this to Blueprint Sport in Kaduna yesterday, stated that with their performance so far which has pushed the team to the summit of the league table, they are poised to win the league as they aspire to continue their unbeaten run.
“The way we are going, what we want to achieve is to get promoted to the professional league. The boys are in top gear, giving all their best to play among their peers in the Professional League and the Premier League.
“We have won three matches out of four and we are topping the league table. We will be going to Kano to play Jarma on April 2 and we are going in full force because we want to maintain our lead on the league table with good points, hopefully we would come out of Kano victorious,” he assured.
Though DSS FC commenced the season with a derby loss to Boro United Football Club of Kafachan, they shored up their performance with 100 percent outing in their remaining three matches, beating Court of Appeal FC (2 – 1) and Nigeria Prison FC (4 – 1) at home, while they also posted a heart-warming 2 – 1 away victory against high-flying VON FC in Abuja.
According to Adeleye, who was a former Spain-based national quarter-mile hurdler, DSS FC are not ready to relent as they are aware that other teams are also aspiring for the top position but they believe with hard work and good planning they would achieve their aims and targets.
He then commended the league and its organisers for the good organisation and fair officiating, adding that the fixtures are okay, the officiating has been very fair and we have no complaints whatsoever.”
